M40 ET64 GERMAN ARMY HELMET SHELL
The shell of this helmet has been post war painted, it has a nice field grey rough finish There is also about a 50% of the original army eagle also remaining.. Inside the helmet there is painted in white paint the name of the original German owner ( Diertlsin ). The helmet is a ET64 with a batch # 5037 . Overall the helmet is in great shape with no dents and is ready for a liner.
The helmet has been post war painted with a heavy field grey sawdust camo. The helmet is a nice size hkI66 with a batch #3049. Inside there is a original dome stamp. The helmet is in overall great shape with no dents and is ready for a liner.
This is a Norwegian post-war reissue. The helmet has 90% of the Norwegian paint still on the helmet with 2 decals on each side. There is original German Luftwaffe blue showing through in spot on the helmet. Inside the helmet there is a heavy layer of Norwegian paint on the skirt of the Helmet which is peeling. The inside dome of the helmet still has the original German Luftwaffe blue paint. With some work the Norwegian paint can be stripped off. Overall the helmet shell is in great shape with no dents.
On the front of the buckle you can make out the wreath and the eagle. The upper right corner of the buckle is missing. The under side of the buckle the clasp and prongs are missing. Overall this buckle has holes and is in relic condition.

The eagle is a well made with dark green felt backing, aluminum wire eagle. This eagle has been removed from a tunic at one time. Overall the eagle is in Excellent shape and ready to be resewn on a tunic.
This is a shoulder strap of a inspector of the Schutzpolizei der Gemeinden ( Municipal Police ). The top of the shoulder board has aluminum wire with brown accents and 2 pips. The shoulder board has a pink felt underside with some mothing. The shoulder board other then the mothing is in excellent shape.
German army Helmet split rivet and washers. There are 3 rivets and 3 washers with 65% field gray paint. The rivets are straightened and ready to install. The rivets are in overall excellent shape.
THESE SACKS ARE GREAT TO STORE OR TRANSPORT YOUR HELMETS WITHOUT WORRY OF SCRATCHING THEM. THE SACKS ARE MADE OF SOFT BUT HEAVY MATERIAL WITH PULL STRINGS. THE SACKS ARE LARGE ENOUGH TO HOLD ALL SIZES OF GERMAN OR OTHER HELMETS. THE SACKS COME WHITE WITH THE GERMAN EAGLE ON THEM. THEY ALSO COME IN BLACK LIGHT GREEN, DARK GREEN AND PLAIN WHITE.
THE HELMET STANDS ARE MADE FROM WHITE ASH AND WHITE PINE. THERE IS PROTECTIVE MATERIAL PUT ON THE BASE SO IT DOES NOT DAMAGE SHELVING. THERE IS A FELT BUTTON ON TOP TO PROTECT THE DOME OF THE HELMET. THE STANDS ARE 7 X 7 AND THE DOWEL IS 1/2 INCH DIAMETER. THE STANDS ARE FINISHED WITH 3 COATS OF VARISH TO PROTECT THE WOOD.
